The Potato, our dear Master!

Date May 12, 2008

potatoes.jpgUntil March this year, before moving to Ireland, I believed that I lived in the “Potatoes Country”:)). But here I am in Ireland and, mighty surprise, the potato strikes again! This time, harder:)). Everywhere you eat, you must have potatoes: mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, baked potatoes, potatoes salad, boiled potatoes……
I’m wondering when I’ll have my “potato stake”:). For example, I went to a very respectable restaurant a few days ago and along with the stake there were boiled potatoes, baked potatoes and potatoes vodka. No, the last one not, thanks a million for that!
I still wait for the potato ice cream. What? Somebody already tried this??

Think positive! Potatoes are soooo good! And irish people even cook potatoes with skin on sometimes - you must give it a try!
